Dr. Marshall

Dr. Dennis Marshall graduated from Muir College at UC San Diego with a degree in Biology. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington DC.

Dr. Marshall was in the US Navy as a dentist for 3 years, stationed in San Diego. He practiced general dentistry and had advanced training in endodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics.

He next opened his dental office in it’s present location, where he has been since 1981. Encinitas has been a wonderful community in which to practice dentistry, as well as being a great place to raise a family. Dr Marshall and his wife have had the pleasure of seeing their 3 children go through the Encinitas school system from kindergarten through high school. It has been a joy to be part of such a special community as both dentist and parent.

The North County area is a great place to be a general dentist. It is a community comprised of many special attributes, not the least of which is the people living here. We are so grateful for the patients in our practice……we have grown by personal referrals all these years. There are many talented, caring and wonderful options in every Dental Specialty in our area. These dental specialists are truly valued resources in taking proper care of our patients needing treatment beyond the scope of a general dentist.

Dr Marshall has been involved with several study clubs over his career. He has been a member of the Los Angeles based Osseointegration Study Club of Southern California since 1991. This club has been advancing the science and applications of dental implants, and has been at the forefront of promoting well-informed dental implant decisions in dentistry.

He has also been a member of the San Diego based Peter Shaw Dental Study club. This club has provided many excellent lectures on various dental topics and is always interesting.
